Vail Ski Resort... Fantastic Fun!

If you want to have a different type of holiday this year, you should think about going to the Vail Colorado Ski Resort. This beautiful town is located in Eagle County, Colorado at the very base of Vail Mountain. Vail Co. has a true feel of a picturesque Bavarian village, making it extremely appealing and attractive for people who yearn to ski on the snow clad Rocky Mountains. One of the main things that you should pay attention to after booking your ski package, is your Vail lift ticket. Many times these tickets are part of the package but you can also purchase them from the hotel or condo you're staying at. They're usually available at the front desk. This is one of the best ways of getting the ticket in case you forgot to purchase them earlier. However, there are other methods to buying Vail lift tickets. Here are a few of them. Many people are of the opinion that Ebay is an excellent source for getting tickets. You will have to look hard. Look for ski coupons. You should expect to get a hefty discount, and you might end up saving $5 to $10. Another place to check is the airport when you arrive in Denver International Airport (DIA). There are counters all over the airport which are dedicated to any and everything that has to do with skiing. You will be able to get lift tickets there without a problem. Maybe not the best price possible, but probably cheaper than if you purchased them at the ski lift. Don't forget the local kiosks in the Vail Valley. You'll be able to purchase them quite easily there. If your ski holiday is for a week or so, it is better to combine your lodging and lift tickets. You will save money if you buy both these together, and many hotels in Vail actually sell these as a package. This is especially true before ski season when they are running specials for the upcoming ski season.
